Where do the proceeds from Seventeener sales go?
100% of  the proceeds from the sales of the Seventeener hat presses go towards the ongoing operation and support of Boy Scout Troop 17 in St. Louis, MO. This includes program equipment and materials, individual registration fees as well as a scoutership program for those scouts of limited financial means.
Who manufactures the Seventeener hat presses?
Seventeener hat presses are assembled by the members of Troop 17 from American made parts.
Will the Seventeener Hat Press accept different styles of broad brimmed hats?
Yes, in most cases. In addition to felt hats, we accommodate most beaver felt and straw hats. See detailed sizing information in the description. Hat presses for triple thick brims (1/4") are available at no extra charge.
Can I use a purchase order?
Absolutely. We accept purchase orders from qualified customers. Please use the Contact link.
Are there quantity discounts?
Yes! Get one hat press free for every 25 ordered. Just be sure to add an extra one in your cart and you will see the free one(s).
Can I change my address after ordering?
To guard against scams and for your protection, we do not accept address changes after the order is placed. If you need to change your address and it is before we have shipped the item, please contact us immediately. We will then cancel the order, refund your money and ask you to create a new order with the correct address.
Will I be refunded shipping charges if I make a return or exchange?
Shipping charges for returns or exchanges will only be made if it was a result of an error on our part.
Will you/can I change shipping methods?
Depending on the order size and destination, we may want to change the shipping method to one that, in our experience, is more reliable and/or cheaper. In that case, we will always contact you first for your approval. If you prefer to use a carrier other than the choices provided, please contact us before placing your order and we will be happy to try to accommodate you.
How do I make an exchange for a different size?
Please contact us first. Within 30 days, return the incorrect hat press in its original condition. Once we receive the incorrect press, we will issue you a refund for the press (but not shipping costs). Then place a new order for the correct size.
Will you ship internationally?
The only country we are currently set up to ship to is Canada. However, please contact us if you want shipment to another country and we will be happy to try to accommodate you.
